In honor of Hulu.com officially opening up to the public (tomorrow), here is one of my favorite SNL clips.... PUNCHED!

Hulu.com has partnered with, among others, MGM and Sony to offer full-length television shows, clips, etc.

Saddam's execution (and the videos/pics surrounding it) has been a pretty popular thing around here lately. Chris and Wendy have posted some blog entries about it, and since then our traffic has been ridiculous.

Most memorable Christmas

As Christmas is approaching, I realized that for the first time in a long time, I think that I am looking forward to it. I would wager that the biggest reason for that is that my son is 18 months old and will probably be hilarious to watch as he plays with all his new stuff.

This got me to thinking, getting a little nostalgic perhaps, about my Christmas memories. When I first started down this train of thought I was going to try and remember what Christmas brought me my favorite present. But honestly, I can't even really think of anything.

What I remember most, wasn't really a specific Christmas, but more what my brothers and I would do when we were kids. Santa would bring us some really great stockings, full of what I now know to be time-killing gifts.

We (the kids) would wake up very early, and my parents always laid down the rule that we could have our stockings but no gifts until mom and dad woke up (tricky eh?). So we would just hang out, hair all crazy, shivering with the early-morning sleep deprived excitement, and play with all the cool stuff in our stockings.

Sounds pretty lame now, but dammit that was greatness and it is still my favorite Christmas memory.

What would you do if you found a big bag full of $100's ($24,000 total) in a movie theater? I'd like to think I would return it immediately, but I don't really know.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (AP) — A woman who lost $24,000 in cash at a movie theater says she was stunned when the teenager who found the wad returned it.

Not only did the guy return the cash, he also refused any kind of reward for returning it. ?!!?

I am really looking forward to this holiday. But, it isn't so much an eagerness to actually partake in the Christmas festivities as it is to get a couple days off!

I can't think of the last time I have taken off a vacation day. (like...in years). But I decided to take off the Friday before, and the Wednesday following Christmas this year. We get Monday and Tuesday off as company days. Do the math. That is 6 days off in a row!

My predictions for my very extended weekend:

Chasity will get annoyed with me getting in her way :)
I will finally find some time to play the two "new" PS2 games I bought but haven't been able to do anything with (God of War and some Star Wars 3 game)
DJ will get used to having his daddy around
We (DJ and I) will play with all of our toys
InstantSpot might get another round of features/bug fixing
My family will get sick of hearing all about how awesome InstantSpot is, and why I think everyone needs their own 'Spot
I will eat
I will drink
I might be merry

I can make it rain

This weekend I put some InstantSpot stickers on the back of my g-ride (that is my Cherokee btw) and once I was finished with that project I noticed how dirty the rest of my Jeep looked like compared to my shiny white stickers. Once I felt comfortable that my stickers were dry (it took awhile - see linked post) I took the g-ride over to the local coin-op carwash.

I scrubbed and sprayed, sprayed and scrubbed and got her lookin' all sweet. Drove back home, parked, walked inside the house. Thats when it started to rain...for the rest of the weekend.

Intro to Aaron's House

Welcome to Aaron's "house". I am one of the creators of InstantSpot and I created this Spot to have a place to post more personal stuff and less tech/work-like stuff. (see my other Spot here)

I also intend to use this Spot as a test bed for designs using the Style Manager in the InstantSpot control panel. So, things might just look a little crazy from time to time.

I am going to try and keep this Spot simple...just a blog and some photo galleries. (I hope to get some pics of my family, Jeeps, etc posted to my photo galleries soon.)
